What is Ford Focus: A Harrison Ford Podcast? Short answer: It's a podcast focusing on the films of Harrison Ford. The somewhat longer answer: It's a podcast exploring the career of an actor who's at once one of the biggest stars in the world and at least a little bit underrated. Did you know that Ford has only been nominated for one Oscar? That that nomination happened over 40 years ago, for the terrific Peter Weir film Witness? That he did not win? Though the word "iconic" has almost been drained of meaning by overuse, it applies both to Ford himself and to many of his films. Yet is it possible that we've taken him a little for granted? That this is, to our knowledge, the only Harrison Ford podcast in existence suggests, yes, it is possible.

Here's how it works: On our main feed episodes, we'll be exploring Ford's filmography in an intuitive order, mixing the big hits with the lesser-known entries. We're kicking things off with a discussion of one of Ford's biggest hits, 1993's feature-length chase movie The Fugitive. We're also launching a Patreon that will be filled with "Ford Explorer" bonus episodes. First up, a discussion of U.S. Marshals, which answers the question: What if you made a sequel to The Fugitive without Harrison Ford or director Andrew Davis but with Robert Downey Jr. and Wesley Snipes?
